To make the printer work, you need to make sure that it is ready for printing state. First of all, you need to open all the chambers of the printer.
For example, you will find a chamber on the top of the device where you need to put some papers. Then the chamber where the printed document will come out.
You will find it on the front side. Now tap on the power button to make it on or tap the cancel button to make it awake from sleeping mode.
Step 2 – Connect with The File Source
You need to connect the printer to the input device, from where you will give a command to the device to print your selected files. For input devices, it can be a Desktop computer, Laptop, or Mobile phone.
- If the wireless printer has a touch screen display, tap on the wifi direct icon, and you will find the wifi direct name and password.
- If your device has physical buttons, you need to press the wifi and information buttons together, or the resume switch for 2-10 seconds or the information key. Because different printers got different physical buttons, it will print the configuration page from where you will find the wifi name and the password. You can store the paper for future causes.
Step 3 – Proceed Print Operation
Now go to the input device and connect with the printer’s wireless network. Then open your file and click on the ‘Print’ option or ‘Ctrl + P’ for Windows 10.
For Mac, it is ‘cmd + P’, and select the printer name and click on ‘Print’. If you have a mobile phone select the ‘Share’ option and then select ‘Print’ to perform the print operation. And the job is done.

How to Clean Your Wireless Printer
Your printer is working consistently well until you find that some letters are missing from the printed paper these days or the ink is not printed properly.
It can happen eventually if you forget to do maintenance on the printhead of your printer. Printhead, a component where all the color boxes, which are also known as cartridges, are stored.
Always remember to examine your printhead otherwise, it will damage your printer, and you may need to replace the device completely.
Usually, you will find the printhead if you remove the top cover. The printhead can be checked in two ways, by using software or by removing the printhead physically.
If you open the official printer app you will see the ‘Clean Printhead’ option. If this method is not working properly, then it can always be done with the second method.
So, to manually make sure your printer’s printhead is fine, you need to go through several steps. Those are-
- Turn off the printer and remove the plug from the power source.
- Open the top cover of your printer and remove all of the ink cartridges. Clean all the contacts with a fresh cloth. Don’t forget to clean printhead contacts also.
- Check whether you need to refill ink to the cartridges. If not, you can insert all the cartridges back in their place accordingly.
- Close the top cover and plug it with the power source.
- Turn on the power and let the printer go through its automated startup process.
- To make sure everything is okay print anything and check the printout.
If you are not a professional, it is not good to go for maintenance on your own. As it is an electronic device, you may damage the printer if you forget to put things properly as before. So, think twice before you go through this.
